School in the Sun Rises to Address Changing Educational Needs
The Florida Sleep School now offers students a learning experience unlike any other school of polysomnography. Using the latest internet communication technology the entire curriculum has been redesigned to include virtual lectures with sleep professionals from around the world. Students can now take full advantage of the internet with our on-line course sessions, regularly scheduled webinars and virtual lectures in a classroom setting. This provides a more flexible and dynamic learning opportunity as well as decreasing the associated educational costs.
The Florida Sleep School is located within Sleep Management Centers, a certified A-STEP educational provider accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and The Joint Commission. With a maximum classroom size of 10 students, courses have been carefully designed to include a mix of didactic and virtual lectures with lots of hands-on experience. The faculty has over 100 years combined experience in sleep medicine including board positions with the BRPT, AAST and BRPT exam development committee.
